This 28-page booklet provides a close-to-comprehensive overview of false solutions to climate change. Fifteen concise articles—complete with photos and illustrations—cover more than 20 false solutions to climate change, from Clean Coal to Biomass incineration, providing an easy-to-read introduction to the ever expanding market place of climate crisis technofixes.
With the incredible pace of the climate policy debate, the 2nd edition provides key updates to crucial topics like REDD (a major new commodification of forests and lands), which was just emerging at the time of initial publication.
Equally important, the booklet expands to more technologies that are being branded as “green” despite the grave dangers associated with them, such as waste incineration, biochar, and genetically engineered “carbon sucking” trees. In the aftermath of the COP15 talk 
s in Copenhagen, the inability of the Big Greens, governments, and market approaches to find genuine and sustainable solutions to climate change is undeniable. As author Naomi Klein so aptly observed at the end of COP15 talks, “A particular model of dealing with climate change is dying.”
We are proud to announce the launch of www.350reasons.org – a website presenting 350 
reasons why carbon trading will not serve to stabilize the climate.
In addition to the website we are releasing a pamphlet illustrating the top 35 reasons, as well as 350 reasons stickers. If you would like to distribute these stickers and/or pamphlets at an October 24th action near you (or at any other climate change events), you can order copies by emailing us at: distro@risingtidenorthamerica.org
