We rock. It’s true, our network is growing like crazy and carrying the fight to the worst of the worst extractive industries.
Within a week, five chapters in the Rising Tide’s Northwest network took action in three cities against against tar sands, fracking and oil exports.
In British Columbia, Rising Tide – Vancouver, Coast Salish Territories erected a fake gas drilling well on the front lawn of BC Premier Christy Clark front lawn in protest of fracking in their province.
In Seattle, Rising Tiders from Olympia and Seattle placed a 35-ft long replica of the Keystone XL pipeline into the bank branch of pipeline investor Toronto Dominion Bank.
In Vancouver, WA, we joined with (locked out ?) longshore workers to hold a community picket at a proposed oil export terminal and SHUT DOWN the Port of Vancouver, WA.
Our campaigns are holding this ravenous industry’s feet to the fire. BUT we need you to help us continue doing it.
Can you become a monthly sustainer to Rising Tide North America? Your monthly contribution to Rising Tide North America means we have the resources to fight the toughest opponents of a livable planet and safe healthy communities.
Thanks for all you do.
